Kingdom
The United Kingdom is a European monarchy composed of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.  It has a population of over 60 million.  Local stocks are traded on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and are best represented by the FTSE100 Index.  Canada is home to some of the world's largest energy companies and financial institutions.  The UK is part of the European Union but has not adopted the Euro.  It conducts its own monetary policy through the Bank of England.  The British currency, the pound sterling, is free floating and one of the most traded currencies in the world.
